John Baird struts and frets his hour upon the world stage

G&M today : Boycotting N. Korean term, John Baird vows to seek reform of UN arms panel

"The Harper government has decided to boycott the United Nations Conference on Disarmament for a month because it’s North Korea’s turn to take the helm."

WSJ, June 30, 2011 : NK Leads UN Conference

"For his part, the North Korean delegate assigned to lead the conference, So Se Pyong, said he would do his best to revitalize the conference. Then he announced a one-month vacation and said work would resume in early August."

Baird is a total embarrassment. Good gawd, we are fast becoming a joke on the world stage. The Harper government is like a mini-Bush Jr experience.

"Progressive" Blogger Le Daro says he actually agrees with this.

Baird and the rest of the harpercons are pushing all the buttons of the bottom quarter of the population. Making the proud to be stupid again.

North Korea is a monstrosity. So is the USA under its last few administrations; ... at least in terms of the suffering they've inflicted on themselves and throughout the world.

Actually I was less concerned with the flagging effectiveness of the disarmament conference and whether it serves any purpose to boycott it than I was with the irony of protesting the presence of someone who is not there.

You only stop cringing over one of Harper's gaffe's, and he pulls another one.

Well, Wikileaks has said, the N.A.U. is around the corner. Canada has already been assimilated by the U.S. So every U.S. war, will be Canada's war.

Harper is not known, for his ability to co-operate with anyone. Wikileaks has also said, the American politicians consider Harper a petty gasbag.

Anon, aka Gloria :
"Well, Wikileaks has said, the N.A.U. is just around the corner"

Why do you keep reposting this same comment over and over here and on other blogs, Gloria/Anon?
WikiLeaks does not "say" anything - they leak what others say - and what others say, like in this case US Ambassadors Jacobsen and Cellucci, is not necessarily the case just because they say it.
I'm not disagreeing with you, Anon/Gloria, just wondering why
you keep repeating it word for word?
